I ran out of the old type of the cat food and I’m trying to get my cat to switch to a new food because I’ve recently learned that science diet food is crappy. I was wondering if I bought the new type of the food she’s used to, would she still eat that so I could mix the new food with it?
garnetcobriana- That’s why I’m switching to a new food. I just need to mix the new food so my cat will eat the better food that I’ve already bought her. Didn’t you read the details?

The other cat, who is 100% healthy and fat and is in no way kidney-impared, is BANANAS for this stuff….
so he eats Kidney Kitty’s food and SHE wants to eat what’s in HIS bowl so…
Is there any harm in letting the healthier one in on the renal diet?

I have had my cat on diet food for about 8 months now and he keeps gradually loosing wieght. I’m starting to think he’s loosing to much. He was kinda fat and now he’s maybe average or below average. Do you think the food is main reason or maybe he has tape worms? Does heartworms make cats loose wieght? He never goes outside either, he is strictly an indoor cat. I can’t get an appointment until Friday. I’m a little worried.
